Nicki Minaj OPI Contest

I entered the Nicki Minaj Nails For Life Contest last month on Facebook. The concept was to create nail designs inspired by one of the four outfits Nicki wore that OPI selected. The top nails in each category won the entire Nicki Minaj polish collection and an autographed CD. These were my nails..I didn't win but whatever. There were some really great designs out on there. I chose the Billboard outfit.

So these were my game day nails. As you can tell I was rooting for the NY Giants.

followed by my staple, Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat.

Beauty Treats - Nail Treats Polish in Coral Crush

I can't stress enough how nice it is to try out a different polish brand and actually be satisfied. This Beauty Treats polish I found at Mandee. I went in for earrings and came out with earrings and some polish surprises.
This shade I'm wearing is Coral Crush. Application was smooth and the wear was great. It lasted 7 days without a touch up. I'm impressed. I used China Glaze adhesion base coat and Ultra Pro top coat with a Seche Vite dry fast topcoat. The sticker was from my random collection of nail findings.

"You got that super bass" ...."that's mad OPI and fragrance too.." Well if you are a Nicki fan then you know where those lines came from. I will definitely show my support. I want Pink Friday! I wasn't really with the Pink Friday Lipstick launch she had with M.A.C.. It just wasn't my shade but I'm down for all colors on the nails ;)

Hedy's Oke Doke Polish in Steal This Teal

I purchased this Oke Doke nail polish some time ago at Rite Aid. I am not familiar with this brand so seeing it at Rite Aid was my first encounter. The polish is definitely Budget NailNista approved. I paid less than 4 bucks and I must say the polish wore very well. I topped it off with a Finger Paints polish in Sparkle Topcoat (806128).

I will be buying Oke Doke again.

Zoya Kelly

Here is Zoya Kelly. She's a beautiful deep color somewhere in the purple family. The best way to describe it is maybe a dark heather lavender??? I dunno but any who it is a nice shade. Take a look see.
