Yesterday I picked up a few things. In the shopping bag I have a very festive glittery China Glaze #884 Party Hearty (red, green and silver), Sally Girl Glow in the Dark polish (from Sally's Beauty Supply), LA Splash in Sparkling Jellyfish and Orly Nail Rescue.
I will definitely be giving the Nail Rescue a try this weekend. The nails on my thumbs have a tendency to split on the sides. I usually do a little at home silk wrapping but I will see how the glue and powder work for me and report back.

Yelloooow... Can You Hear Me?
I don't shy away from any nail polish color but I don't think yellow looks all that great on me. (This is Avon's Sunshine.) That is however until I teamed it up with a beautiful glittery Golden Ticket by Sally Hansen. It really made a difference. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's a very pretty golden-esque glittery polish. What colors do you like to layer?

Polish 20's Grand Opening!!!!
Welcome all to the Polish20 blog. A big thanks to all of you who have inspired me to create my own blog dedicated to nails and beauty realted products in general! Be patient with me as I navigate the tools and apps.
This first blog I would like to share how I created the "salon look" french tip manicure. What better way to start a blog than with an old classic. I saw this done by sccastaneda on youtube and decided to give it a try. I thought I would have to give it a go several times before I got a finish I liked, but to my surprise I got it right the first time. Even on my right hand! (since I had to use the left).
For this quick and easy French mani I applied a white coat of polish to the tip of my nail (Avalon #107 French Blizzard) then I used a round tip eyeshadow brush like this dipped in acetone to create a great "C" like shape. I topped it off with a clear coat of Brucci clear and then the staple..Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. Voila!
Let me know if you try it out!
